VEHU Participation in the Funding Workshop for Civil Associations – District XII, Budapest

On September 12, 2025, the Venezuelan Association in Hungary (VEHU) actively participated in the Funding Workshop for Civil Associations, organized by the Municipality of District XII, Budapest.

The event took place at the Municipality headquarters (Böszörményi út 23–25) and brought together around 20 civil associations, with numerous representatives from diverse communities attending. The day included presentations on previous project experiences and funding plans, a session on participatory budgeting and the role of social organizations, as well as a practical workshop that allowed associations to share concerns and strengthen their skills in project preparation and presentation.

For VEHU, this was a valuable opportunity for learning and networking, providing tools and knowledge useful to continue promoting initiatives for the Venezuelan community in Hungary, in collaboration with local authorities and other civil organizations.
