The Spanish-speaking Catholic Mission of Budapest (MCHB) and the Venezuelan Community in Hungary (VEHU) warmly invite the Venezuelan community, Spanish speakers, and friends of Venezuela to join us for a Holy Mass on Sunday, 5 July 2026, at 4:00 p.m., at Budapesti Kapucinus Templom (Budapest I., Fő utca 32).
This celebration has a dual purpose: to commemorate the 215th Anniversary of Venezuela's Independence and to pray for the victims, their families, and everyone affected by the devastating earthquakes that struck Venezuela on 24 June 2026.
The Mass will be an opportunity to come together in faith, express our solidarity with those suffering, and pray for all those involved in rescue efforts, medical assistance, and recovery.
Participants are invited to wear white or burgundy, symbolizing hope, unity, and our support for the Venezuelan people.
Those who wish are also welcome to bring a flower as an offering to Our Lady during the celebration.
Following the Mass, everyone is invited to a time of fellowship with the community. Those who wish may bring coffee, juice, desserts, or any food to share.
We look forward to welcoming you as we gather in prayer, hope, and solidarity with Venezuela.
