Extraordinary Assembly 2025 (Announcement)

The Extraordinary Assembly of the Civil Association “Venezuelans in Hungary” (address: 1126 Budapest, Böszörményi út 4).

The Assembly will be held via videoconference.

The Extraordinary Assembly will take place on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 8:00 p.m., online, in accordance with the Statutes (the digital platform to be used will be communicated separately).

If the Assembly is not valid on the originally convened date due to lack of quorum (i.e., if the number of attendees does not reach more than half of the members, 50% + 1), a second convocation will be held on October 3, 2025, at 8:00 p.m., with the same agenda. This second meeting will be valid regardless of the number of attendees.

According to point VIII/1 of the Statutes:

“Members may exercise their right to vote at the Assembly through an authorized representative. The power of attorney must be granted in writing in a private document with full legal validity and delivered to the President of the Assembly at the beginning of the meeting.”

Therefore, if a member of the Association cannot attend the Assembly, they may be represented by another person with the corresponding authorization, in accordance with the Statutes. The signed authorization must be sent scanned to the President of the Association before the date of the Assembly. (A template of the authorization will be sent together with this convocation.)

1./ Opening of the Extraordinary Assembly and election of the President of the Assembly and the minutes recorder (can be the same person)

2./ Approval of the Agenda of the September 2025 Extraordinary Assembly

3./ Approval of Supervisory Council positions

4./ Approval of the new member of the Board of Directors

5./ Other matters

6./ Closing of the Extraordinary Assembly
