On Sunday, September 14, 2025, the Venezuelan community in Hungary joined the Spanish-Speaking Catholic Mission of Budapest (MCHB) in celebrating the Mass in honor of the Virgin of Coromoto, patroness of Venezuela.
The event took place at the Capuchin Temple – Parish of Saint Elizabeth of the House of Árpád (Fő utca 32, District I, Budapest), where the Spanish Mass was also inaugurated in the new temple, a spiritual meeting space for the entire Spanish-speaking community of the city.
The day began with an emotional procession at 3:30 p.m., followed by the Eucharist at 4:00 p.m., paying tribute to the Virgin of Coromoto, a symbol of faith and unity for Venezuelans.
VEHU had the honor of participating in promoting the event and sharing with the community in this moment of deep spirituality and fellowship, reaffirming our commitment to keeping Venezuelan cultural and religious traditions alive in Hungary.
